OZ Naturals Broad Spectrum Tinted Sunscreen SPF 30

Hello beautiful readers! I hope this new post finds you all well!

I received a free sample of the OZ Naturals Tinted Moisturizer in exchange for an honest review. OZ Naturals is a skincare brand that I love. I’ve tried and reviewed other products before (see previous post on the OZ Naturals 2.5% Retinol Serum) and have been very happy with the results.

Since I love to wear tinted moisturizer,  I thought this would be a great opportunity to try a product that I could easily incorporate into my skin regimen. Tinted sunscreen can be versatile and it can eliminate some steps in your daily makeup routine if you are looking to save some time.  During the cold months you can use it as a base for your makeup, while moisturizing your skin at the same time. In the summer, it can work alone – during the summer months my everyday makeup is usually just tinted moisturizer and bronzer.

Pink is the new black! Here are 10 things you can do this month to support Pink October.

Pink October is here! Every year during the month of October many organizations raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I often find myself wondering what I can do to show my support. Many of us know someone who is affected by this disease, whether a relative, friend, co-worker or acquaintance. Even if we do not, as women we should stand united in the fight against breast cancer. According to http://www.breastcancer.org, 12% of women (one in eight) will develop breast cancer in the U.S. over the course of their lifetime. If like me, you are wondering how you can get involved, here are some ways you can show support (and get some fun makeup and accessories in the process).

Couture Fashion Week New York, Spring 2016

Fashion Show 8

This September I had the pleasure of attending Couture Fashion Week New York , in New York City. The show was fantastic, I really enjoyed the experience (and front row seats!). The show featured two prominent international couture designers, whose gowns have been worn by beauty pageant contestants around the world. The first collection was designed by renowned Dominican designer Lourdes Atencio. Overall, her Spring 2016 collection was fun and romantic. While the first few looks did not impress me, the collection improved for me as the show went on. Many of her pieces had a vintage vibe, and some evoked the 60s and 70s. I would have liked to see more of that since I love those eras. Some gowns also had a metallic fabric that looked like “liquid satin”,  which captured the light on the runway in an interesting way. While I liked many of the designs individually, I thought the collection could have been more cohesive.

Fashion Show 6
This was the opening design. I love crop top and skirt sets, and I like green, however I did not love this combination.

The Magic of OZ Naturals 2.5% Retinol Serum

OZ Naturals has developed a truly magical retinol serum. As you may already know, retinol is an essential ingredient in any anti-aging skincare product. Retinol works by prompting the skin to make more collagen and it helps exfoliate your skin by removing dead cells (source: www.webmd.com/beauty/skin-glow-13/anti-aging-routine).

I received a sample of this product to test and so far I have seen amazing results. While I always prided myself in having inherited good skin (thanks mom!), I have always known how important it is to use great skincare products to help prevent wrinkles. Furthermore, my dry skin has only gotten dryer over the years and I have my fair share of wrinkles and expression lines.

Well, so far I’ve seen amazing results! After applying the OZ Naturals 2.5% Retinol Serum daily, my skin is softer, more hydrated and it has helped visibly reduce my expressions lines and wrinkles. Also, as someone with sensitive skin, I have not had any allergic reactions or redness. I attribute that to the fact that this serum is also 99.9% natural. Need I say more? OZ Naturals 2.5% Retinol Serum guarantees great results for a fraction of the price of other much more expensive serums.

Shoespiration by Zooshoo

Hello everyone! It’s taken me longer that I thought it would to publish this new post, mostly because my days have been super busy.In any case, my new Zooshoo sandals arrived 4 days ago! I was very excited since I was able to buy 3 pairs of sandals for $45 thanks to a summer BOGO sale! (see previous post about Summer Sales) Since I also started packing for an upcoming beach trip, I thought I should put together some outfits to go with my new sandals. Before I show you my beach looks, I listed the model and brand of each sandal with a short review.
