Hi everyone! This summer I was one of the lucky people chosen by Influenster to review the Hourglasss Vanish Seamless Foundation Sitck & Brush set!
I’ve never used a stick foundation before, so I was very excited – and a little nervous- to try this! The appearance of the product alone is beautiful (see pictures below) and it received rave reviews on Sephora, but of course I had to test it and see for myself if it really lived up to its reputation.
Needless to say, this stick foundation is amazing! First of all, a small amount goes a long way. The instructions specifically state to place a dot on the nose, forehead and cheekbones, and then blend with the brush. I was a little skeptical at first, but it totally worked! (Tip: If you prefer a heavier coverage, just add more). Second, I love that the brush makes applying this foundation very easy, so the average makeup aficionado (me) can apply this and get flawless results! (see picture below)
Finally, the Vanish Foundation Stick is also moisturizing, which is perfect for me, since I have dry skin. Since I was testing this in the summer, the shade I chose was Golden, which blended in nicely with my slightly tan skin. For the winter, I would probably go a shade lighter.
